George Denzil ROGERS (b Srinagar, Kashmir./May 23rd. 1897, d Birmingham, England./November 5th. 1963) married Alicia Barbara PORTER. George worked as an assistant in the State Siviculture Dept. in Kashmir until he was commissioned and joined the 40th. Pathans in 1918. After the war he had various jobs and came to England in 1924 where he married and eventually settled near Birmingham., children:
