info from Rachael Nash nojombi@iinet.net
Hi, I'm not too sure where you obtained some of your
information from, but its incorrect. Let's go straight to William and Emily -
they did not have a son called Joseph, it was George William though your dates
of birth and death are correct for "Joseph", which should read as George. I can
recall meeting my g grandfather Nash as a 10 year old when he resided in a
nursing home opposite Pimlico High School in Townsville.
George married Rose Maud Milton and they had 10 or 11 children one of which was
my grandma, namely Ivy May Lafferty (nee Nash). Grandma died in the Ingham
Hospital in 1991 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born in 1918.
She had 12 children to Thomas Lafferty, one of which is my mum, Maureen. The
Lafferty family resided in North Ward. Elsie resides in West End and Maureen off
memory resides in Annandale.
Just thought I should clarify. Cheers, Brendan
