Next Generation

William CUMMINGS (William Cummings of Scottish origin, I am told ran away from family aged 15, worked on the Railways in India. ) married ??, had 3 daughters 2 sons (One named George a medic died shortly after WW1. Loosing both sons & a s/in/law tragically left the family bereft of supporting male members in their prime leaving the family to struggle on as best as can.:

  1. Kathleen CUMMINGS (born 1897, died at Ranchi India about 1964-74)

Kathleen CUMMINGS (born 1897) in 1919 married Fredrick Arthur ALFORD [dob1894-97?, worked for the railways in India, died about 1926/27] , son 

  1. Douglas Arthur ALFORD (dob 1920 India). Douglas attended Darjeling North Point St Josephs, & came to Australia & settled in the 1960's. He died 2001. Douglas Alford is the father of Yvette in Sydney & John. Yvette's 2 sons are Marcus & Chris. Granddaughters are Paris & Imogen.
