Terence Staunton BROWNE (b 12/9/1929 Madras, d Seattle 2/1/1993)) married Muriel ??. Terry left India in 1951following the 1947 death of his father. Terry trained as an aeronautical engineer at Luton College north of London, then moved to Toronto in 1955, where he worked for DeHavilland Aircraft. He was recruited by Boeing Company and moved to Seattle in 1958, where he met and married Muriel
Browne, a widow with a daughter, Darlene. The couple had two more children, Kathleen and Randall. A brilliant aerospace engineer, Terry never lost his love for India and maintained close relationships with his family, who are now scattered throughout UK, Canada, Australia and other parts of the world. His siblings are Roger Browne, Joan Hopkins, Ronald Browne, Camilla DeBarry, David Browne, Walton Browne and the late Michael Browne. Terry passed away tragically of a brain tumor. His daughter, Kathleen Cassidy, a PhD candidate in English at the University of Hawaii, is currently at work on a large-scale project regarding the Anglo-Indian community, dedicated to his memory. Relatives of Terry Browne may have the surnames of Browne, Peters, Mackenzie, Smith or Wilson, among others. He is buried alongside his wife in Seattle, Washington. Children:
