I have a William BENNETT (born 1828, India) who is the father of my ancestor Elizabeth BENNETT. Mary Ann BENNETT (b ?, died on December 21, 1936 in Calcutta and is also buried there.) on March 22, 1881 in the Old Mission Church at Fort William, Calcutta, married Ernest Osmond Robert MYERS,. Ernest describes himself as a Contractor on the marriage certificate. Later he became a colliery proprietor. In late 1894 or early 1895 the MYERS' family moved from Calcutta to Giridih, Bihar, Bengal Presidency. The children of the marriage were:

  1. HAROLD ERNEST Myers born December 27,1881 in Calcutta.
  2. EDGAR OSMOND Myers born March 10, 1883 in Calcutta (my father)*
  3. ARTHUR ROBERT Myers born October 28, 1884 in Calcutta.
  4. HUGH OSCAR Myers christened January 31 1886 in Giridih, Bihar, Bengal Presidency
  5. HILDA MARY Myers born July 24, 1890. ERNEST died on October 17, 1920 in Calcutta and is buried there.

I am trying to locate information on John Bennett and Teresia Evelina Rothwell.   They were married in Mora, Gwalior, India on November 25, 1881. 

William BENNETT married Mary Ann LATTER, children :

  1. John Bennett (born in Seal, Kent, England in 1851, died 1907).

John BENNETT married in Mora, Gwalior, India on November 25, 1881,Teresia Evelina ROTHWELL (born in West Bengal, India April 13, 1867, died January 5, 1883.  She was buried at Steamer Point, Aden in the Diocese of Bombay. Her parents were Samuel ROTHWELL and Jane Sarah. )  children :

  1. George Ernest Bennett (born February 27, 1882 in Madhya Pradesh, India).
