Fun &
Educational Family Board Game developing Numeracy Skills
An excellent way to introduce the students to the game is to have groups of players work as a teams to complete the board accurately. Completing the board in less than 5 minutes is excellent. The groups could be made up of 4 from each school team or faction and weekly scores noted in the school newsletter.
In playing as a team, the game rules are not followed, however all completed equations should be correct. Time the groups and record the average time for the class in order to compare these times at the end of the month to see the improvement in their Numeracy Skills. Award a trophy to the winning School Team at the end of the year.
