Martin Thomas AMOR (born in 1856 in Poona, India, died on 23 Jan 1913 in Poona, India. Martin was employed at the College of Science, Poona.  He was Superintendent of the Engineering Department) married (1) Rose Elizabeth Josephine D'Souza (born in 1851 in India. She died on 2 Oct 1925 in India and was buried on 2 Oct 1925 in Immaculate Conception Poona). They lived at Dastermehr Road, Poona with Rose's mother Angelina Da'SOUZA.

Sacred To the memory of Esperance Mother of Anthony and Vincent Amor   1st November 1870 Vincent Amor 10-07-1878.   Anthony Amor, 30-06-1888.  Joseph Amor, 31-07-1900. Gertrude Amor, 17-08-1901.  Peter P. Amor, 16-11-1910.  Josephine Amor, 02-10-1926. Marie Amor, 02-10-1927.  Peace perfect Peace.

At the age of 57 Martin died, the date was 23 January 1913, his brother Joseph organised the funeral and instructed the burial party to bury Martin in a second tomb and kept his promise made to Martin that Felix who had been buried outside in the churchyard to be placed with him.

Martins' wife Rose (but liked to be called Josephine) died 2 October 1926 aged 75 years.  She was buried in the first Amor family tomb and now with Martin.

Martin's children were brought up by relatives.

Sarah Elizabeth AMOR (born in 1874 in Poona, India. She died on 11 Mar 1947 in Kirkee, India and was buried on 12 Mar 1947 in Kirkee, India.) married Cevelino D'Cunha, a Station Master, in 1899 in India. (Cevelino was born in 1863. He died on 29 Oct 1929 in Kirkee, India and was buried on 30 Oct 1929 in Government Cemetery, Kirkee.)
Sarah changed her name after her husband died and used the name Stevens or Stephens. Children of Sarah & Cevelino:

  1. Alfred D'Cunha (born in 1899 and died on 7 Feb 1982.
  2. Frank D'Cunha (born in 1900.
  3. Rose D'Cunha (born on 21 Sep 1901 and died on 17 May 1981.
  4. Estella D'Cunha (born in 1903.
  5. Vernon D'Cunha was born in 1905 in India.
  6. Henrietta D'Cunha was born in 1906.
  7. Doris D'Cunha was born in 1908.
  8. Grace D'Cunha was born in 1910. She died on 30 Oct 1927 in Kirkee, India and was buried on 30 Oct 1927 in Kirkee, India.
  9. Marie Teresa D'Cunha was born in 1916.
  10. Norman George D'Cunha was born on 14 Dec 1918 in India.
